Before Your Visit
Preparing for your appointment
All patients requesting a first appointment, as well as existing patients with a new concern will need to submit their referral prior to booking an appointment. Our reception staff can give advice if needed about referral validity to ensure access to medicare rebates.
Please email the referral to admin@totaldermatology.com.au or fax to 08 7007 0838.
Once the referral is received, you will be contacted with an appointment time after the doctor has reviewed the referral. Our dermatologists prioritise urgent conditions.
We will email you a letter confirming your appointment and New Patient Forms. These should be completed prior to arriving for your appointment.
Arriving for your appointment
Arrive for your appointment 5 minutes prior to the allocated time.
Ensure your New Patient Forms have been returned to us or bring them along with you on the day if you were unable to send them prior.
Medical Fees
There are fees in addition to the Medicare rebate for all consultations and procedures.
Please note that private health insurance does not cover the costs of clinic consultations and procedures. However, we often get these details if there is a requirement to book appointments with other specialists that utilises private health/day surgery hospital settings.
All fees must be paid in full on day of service.
Cosmetic Fees
Costs of these procedures will vary depending on the type of procedure you are having done. These will be provided at the time of booking to ensure financial consent.
These services do not attract a Medicare rebate.
Other Fees
We also support rural and interstate areas of need via telehealth video conferencing where possible.
